A new update posted to GitHub with a commit dated 10/31/2017. I simplified some of the code for readability. One of the next steps is to further abstract the code library underlying the RSS engine just enough to aid readability. It has been about 30 days since the last update and as I looked at the code, I could discern a need for better conceptual representation in C++. Unfortunately, the stock gcc I currently have in Fedora has not officially been updated to C++ 17. Yes, there is experimental support, but I’ll have to wait until a solid, confident update before leveraging that revision of the language. However, I can still improve things with better use of RAII idiom.
